You took a bite out of life
This is where the cookie starts to crumble
We’re born with no teeth
This is because we aren’t ready to chew on these problems
They stay strong for years
Munching on life’s ups and downs
You may get braces to straighten out the crooked path you’ve created
Yet the birthday cake(which was a happy event)
And the ice cream(this was was breakup)
Are slowly rotting your teeth away
Maybe our teeth only last well into old-age
Before they start to be lost to us
Because we are no longer need to be equipped to crunch on the hard pieces of life’s pie
Hopefully, we are done simply surviving
And can now sip on life’s smoothie
